interviewer: talks about being at the
cancer gig, introduces noel...hello noel, its quite hot in this studio
noel: its got a lot hotter since i came
in
interviewer: so are you playing tonight?
noel: not playing tonight, not playing
this year
interviewer: youve been quite busy lately yes?
noel: yeah we're in the studio at the
moment
interviewer: so its the tenth anniversay of DM this year, I was
thinking maybe the first single could coincide with that?
noel: its going a lot slower than we
anticipated, so I think it probably wont( ? )
interviewer: so we read in the papers that you sacked DIV...
noel: no no it wasnt like that, we had a
set time with them and we had the 3 weeks down there with them, but
unfortunately they wanted to go off and be death in vegas...and so we're
still working on it
interviewer: now this is an interesting album, what we had with
heathen chemistry was a lot of different songs, what can we expect with this
new album?
noel: its *thinks for a while*...alright
interviewer: im just desperate to hear something though Id love to
play something new for the 10th anniversary...
noel: well yeah we're looking at the
album at the end of the year so...i suppose we might have some new stuff
about august
interviewer: (something about the first single)
noel: well youre not gonna get it ( ?
)... (i cant pick this out really)
interviewer: so we're at the teenage cancer trust gug, you come down
here every year, you're not this year...why is this something you like to
get involved with?
noel: (some talk with the interviewer I
cant pick out)
interviewer: so what do you think of the coral?
noel: (cant pick this out either)
interviewer: the zutons are pretty cool too...
noel: yeah yeah, most of these new bands
are really brilliant
interviewer: well thanks for coming down, im annoyed that we're not
getting a new single but maybe we'll try to get you in a headlock later and
sort that out...so what do you think of jet?
noel: *silence*
interviewer: haha...not a massive fan?
noel: no i do like Jet!
